Our working world is hardly conceivable without IT - PCs and programs are our daily working tools. This digitalization of the workplace has made it necessary to have users authenticated through password queries to ensure that only authorized persons are granted access.
In the meantime, each user now has numerous passwords to log on to individual applications. In the best case the user remembers all these passwords, in the worst case they simply note it down and store them in their drawer. Often identical passwords are used for different applications and popular passwords such as date of birth represent rather security risk than protection.
