Raiffeisen Informatik takes over UNIQA IT operations in eight European countries
Following the successful IT infrastructure outsourcing project at UNIQA in Vienna, Raiffeisen Informatik received the assignment to take over the IT operations in Germany, Italy, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic and Hungary in 2005. IT operations in the individual countries have been centrally consolidated in Austria.
In this way UNIQA benefits from a cost saving potential, since software licenses and maintenance works focus on fewer but more powerful machines.
Moreover, the centralized management of IT operations ensures 100% availability of data and the highest security standards of a high performance computing center.
Currently around 2,600 client user profiles are stored. This project is a very successful involvement by Raiffeisen Informatik in the international market.
